Drawn on location in ink, this book is as much a document of abandoned cars found while hiking in the woods of Northern New England as it is a record of drawing decisions. The cars, abandoned along logging roads, ditched down ravines, driven up to their wheel-wells in sand-pits, burned and bullet-ridden and left to disintegrate and then integrate into nature, are a dear armature for Clark's work which tracts the edge where mark-making and legible image merge.

Includes an introductory poem Autobahn Children by Cralan Kelder.

PLEASE NOTE: All copies of this title are 'non-mint' due to detached or loose covers. Please see the example shown in the final imageĀ
